Race 6 results

WOW!!!  LETS START WITH THAT!!!
What a awsome car we had last night,  The
Horn Industrial ,M Insustrial Mechanical,
Titan Industries was the class of the field
last night.
Joe serviced the car and found the the left
front spring failed when he removed the spring
from the shock to have it re-valved by Sonny
at whal traction, ( www.wahltraction.com )
The new shocks package woke up this car.
Joe practiced a average lap of 15.20 in the 1st
session, He came in we made some changes and
1 hour later we went  out for the 2nd practice
and the car ran a 15.00 flat, but,  Joe was still not
happy and made some corrections on the car.
We prepared the car for qualifing and reset some
shock valving and sent him out,  Joe was the 8th
car out and ran a 14.87 for FAST TIME and
missed the track record by 7 undreds of a second
Joe said the car was awsome even when it slipped
off of turn 4, Joe said "we could have went faster".
During the qualifing session the driver that runs
quick time had to draw a number the determine
the invert and Joe drew a 6, (the highest #  possible)
and we had to start 6th.
Joe went to 3rd on the first corner of the 1st lap and
paced the leaders thru the 1st 3 cautions, on lap 39 of
the 50 lap race the 4th place car decided he wanted
Joes spot and drove down the side of our car turning
Joe sideways ,Joe stayed on the gas when the flag man
threw the yellow flag for what he thought was going to
be  big wreck , both Joe and the other car continued
moving and the race  director caqme  on the radio and
said " no harm no fowl "
Joe came on the radio to me and said the steering wheel
is not 45 degrees off  with 11 laps left, I told Joe to
drive it... and he did!  the first and 2nd place cars
took off Joe stayed  with them, then the 4th place car
caught us and Joe could not  hold him off  for a
4th place finish.
Great job Joe!!
Stay tuned ...
