Forty-two Lucas Oil Modifieds converged on the Bullring for last
nights 75-lap main event.
Thirty-five participated in time trials as seven cars were lost to various
problems between Friday night practice and race day. Dylan Kwasniewski of Las
Vegas set fast time with a lap of 15.378 sec. The first 20-lap B-Feature was won
by Jentry Pisca. Matthew Hicks won the second 20-lap B-Feature. James Mardis won
the six-lap dash.
Chris Gerchman out horse powered the pole sitter Joe Deguevara on the
first lap and paced the field through a number of caution periods for the first
40 circuits. Joe Deguevara driving the Whal traction , Horn Industrial services
modified competes only 2 times in the series per year and runs a 358 ci engine
vs the 373 and 400 ci engines in this series was still 4th fast time and with
the top 4 inverted was the pole for last nights event .
